- Tom Kiehl is a cultural and community leader. As Chief Executive of UK Music he is responsible for leading the organisation that is an umbrella body for the music industry. By bringing the sector to champion, campaign and collaborate on behalf of music, Tom’s successes include the fight against government plans to introduce damaging changes to copyright law as a result of AI, and campaigning to address the challenges caused to the sector by Brexit. Tom has worked at UK Music for 14 years. Prior to becoming Chief Executive, Tom was previously Deputy CEO at UK Music, and before that Director of Government and Public Affairs. He joined the organisation following 11 years working in the Houses of Parliament in a variety of research and advisory roles, achieving change in support of the music industry by masterminding into law the Live Music Act 2012.
